Everything I've done, I've done for you. I move the stars for no one.

We had a really nice weekend, although if it doesn’t warm up soon I am going to start getting peesed off. Saturday we had to say goodbye to some GREAT friends from overseas. They are heading back to Germany. It was hysterical because the couple had a going away party at their place and also had a “if it’s plugged-in take it” sale.  From coffeemakers to IKEA Lamps, if it had to go in an outlet it was up for grabs. Andy of course managed to take a plant. Does that really surprise you? I grabbed these super cute star lights, but not sure where the heck I’m going to put them. Andy and I walked around the place for 20 min yesterday with these long star lights.

The German dance off was fabulous. Dude’s a DJ and well I can’t understand what the lyrics were, everyone was acting like they did. There was a loooot of Depeche Mode.

And get over it, but I saw a fantastic documentary this weekend. Guy Ritchie’s muse and man with the voice, Jason Statham narrated a special “The Truth in 24.” "Truth In 24," a feature-length documentary about Team Audi's quest for a fifth-straight victory as it faces its first serious challenge in years from Peugeot. You don’t have to even like racing to enjoy it, but I will tell you that you’ll come away with a damn good knowledge of Audi’s  racing history and what it means to race for Audi. Trust me, a lot more than just circling a track and making left-hand turns you a**hats.

The weekend in review:

Andy and I walking Indy at a neighborhood park-

Woman Passing By: That is such a cute dog. I’d just want to follow him around all day. Such a funny disposition.

Andy: He’s great and definitely amusing. He’s all the way deaf.

Great party story from this weekend. We’ll just call the guys, Bob and Rob

Bob: So Rob and me are out last weekend, just got ridiculous. Well on our  walk back to the car, Rob decides to see which side-view mirrors are collapsible (the ones that snap back without breaking). He went down the whole road and they are just popped back, until the last one, which snapped right off.

Bob and Rob are telling this story to Bob’s roommate and his girlfriend the next morning and everyone is laughing about it. Bob’s roommate then walks with his girlfriend to her car. Her car has a broken side-view mirror. Yep, Rob had to pay up.

German Party Host: (talking about the American flag he had up on a wall)

Host: I like it to hang to the right.

Me: That’s what she said.

Host: Who’s said that?

Me: Looking confused.

Host: Come on, who said it!

Mikey Likes It – Did you know T Pain stands for Tallahassee Pain? Can we please think about the names he could have gone with… A- Pain, N-Pain (not gangsta enough), F-Pain (now that sounds tough), U-Pain (is that a question?).

It’s 5 Doh’Clock somewhere with this Homer clock

Are we just going to highlight something McDonald’s every week Mikey? Gonna have to start getting McCreative. Even McD’s has some fine dining experiences on their menu. The McSurf N’ Turf - A McDonald’s Fish-O-Filet inside a Quarter Pounder with cheese.
